2017 TTF Race Recap

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, over 1,400 athletes took part in the sixth annual Toronto Triathlon Festival (TTF).

Our unique course offered an unparalleled urban experience, providing an opportunity to compete in Toronto’s downtown core, including on portions of the Don Valley Parkway and the Gardiner Expressway.

In addition to an Olympic and Sprint Distance set of races, the 2017 TTF Race Weekend also hosted the Provincial Championships as well as an Elite / U23 and Junior Cup Series Race. The 2017 TTF also featured a Draft Legal Sprint Race for the first time.

Five different continents were represented by TTF athletes. In total, over 4,500 people took part, at various times throughout the weekend, and we utilized over 300 local volunteers.

The TTF Race Weekend is estimated to have generated over $1.3 million in economic development.
