Congrats to the TTC for taking the 2020 Virtual Toronto Triathlon Club Challenge crown!

 

Kudos also to Team LPC for taking second place, and to the Hammerheads & Koalas Triathlon Team, for coming in third.

 

The TTF and the Toronto Triathlon Club are also pleased to award the $500 prize purse as follows: 60% to first place, 30% to second and 10% to third.

We are pleased to launch the inaugural Virtual Toronto Triathlon Club Challenge!

​

A prize purse of $500 is being offered by the TTF and the Toronto Triathlon Club.

During the registration process, athletes should identify themselves as a member of their respective club.

Athletes should then sport their club gear with pride, as they work through the various legs of their Virtual TTF race, and post pics, videos as well as comments to social to drive engagement, fun and a little trash talking. Use the #VirtualTTF hashtag.

Modified Age Group Categories:

We will recognize the following age groups in both male and female categories:

U20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

(We have truncated age group categories as there will be lower overall registration for this virtual race than for a traditional TTF.)

Scoring Guidelines:

Club members will receive points awarded based on their True Age Group Division Place. For clarity, True Age Group Division Place does not remove overall finishers from the respective age group division.

Points are awarded as follows: 6 – first place, 5 – second place, 4 – third place, 3 – fourth place, 2 – fifth place for each age group division listed.

In addition, 1 point will be awarded for all club finishers (to a maximum of 10 points).

All of the points, noted above, will be accumulated from all four races to determine the clubs taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

The prize purse will be awarded as follows: 60% for 1st place, 30% for 2nd and 10% for 3rd.
