Virtual TTF Race Options

  • During The TTF Race Period (July 10 to July 19), Athletes Can Complete A Triathlon Or Duathlon
     

  • Athletes Can Choose Between The Following Distances: Olympic, Sprint & Try-A-Tri
     

  • Athletes Can Choose To Complete Their Chosen Race Indoors Or Outside - Your Choice
     

  • ‎Athletes Can Complete All Legs At Once Or Over Multiple Days - Your Choice
     

  • Athletes Will Upload Their Res‎ults To A TTF Specific Page On Sportstats.ca
     

  • Athletes Will Receive Relevant Links From Sportstats Closer To The Virtual TTF Race Period

Virtual TTF Race Distances

  • The Olympic virtual triathlon comprises a 1.5 km swim, a 40.0 km bike, and a 10.0 km run

  • The Olympic virtual duathlon comprises a 10.0 km run, a 40.0 km bike, and a 5.0 km run

  • Age restrictions for the Olympic virtual races (as prescribed by Triathlon Ontario) are 18 or older
     

  • The Sprint virtual triathlon comprises a 750 m swim, a 20.0 km bike, and a 5.0 km run

  • The Sprint virtual duathlon comprises a 5.0 km run, a 20.0 km bike, and a 2.5 km run

  • Age restrictions for the Sprint virtual races (as prescribed by Triathlon Ontario) are 16 or older 
     

  • The Try-A-Tri virtual triathlon comprises a 250 m swim, a 6.0 km bike and a 1.5 km run

  • The Try-A-Tri virtual duathlon comprises a 1.5 km run, a 6.0 km bike and a 750 m run

  • Age restrictions for the Try-A-Tri virtual races (as prescribed by Triathlon Ontario) are 14 or older

  • SUP with Simon (‎Friday, July 10, 6:00 pm):

    • Olympic Champion, Simon Whitfield, on his paddlebord, live from the West Coast, will officially launch the Virtual TTF race period

    • 30 minutes in duration

  • Coffee with Cody (Wednesday, July 15, 6:00 pm):

    • Multiple Ironman Champion, Cody Beals, will bring his engineering background and brainy approach to things, to talk aerodynamics and bike tech

    • 30 minutes in duration
       

  • Pints with Paula (Thursday, July 16, 6:00 pm):

    • Multiple Ironman Champion and Olympian, Paula Findlay, joined by her partner and fellow pro triathlete, Eric Lagerstrom, will talk about their Vlog: "That Triathlon Life" and what they're up to during these unprecedented times

    • 30 minutes in duration
