Have you been thinking about doing your first tri for some time now? 


Are you new to the sport but still a little nervous?


Well, we're holding a free half day training camp just for you!


We want to help make the decision to take on a triathlon much, much easier than it currently is. 


As such, we've designed the inaugural "TTF Training Camp for Newbies" with this objective in mind. 


We will take full advantage of the unique facilities (and awesome trainers / practitioners) at the Toronto Athletic Club to stage this serious-but-not-overly-serious event, if you catch our drift.


In this unique experience, you'll learn swimming basics, receive tips on how to build into a realistic cycling regime and‎ hear about how running for purpose can be both fun as well as rewarding. You'll also get in the pool and on spin bikes for some actual hands-on, practical experiences. 


Finally you'll hear about the TTF and learn about some of the cool things we're doing to support those new to our sport.

About the Event

  • All attendees will participate in a swim session (in the pool), a spinning rotation (in the studio) and a running talk (presentation).

  • After these three rotations, attendees will then hear from the TTF about what we’re doing this year to help you ease into the sport. As well, there will be a Triathlon 101 aspect to this session, where there will be a Q&A.

  • We will have coffee, fruit and snacks for attendees.

  • 7:45 to 8:00 am:   Arrival of Participants 

  • 8:15 to 8:45 am:    Rotation 1 (e.g., swim, spin, or run talk)

  • 8:45 to 9:00 am:   Transition from Rotation 1 to Rotation 2

  • 9:00 to 9:30 am:   Rotation 2 (e.g., swim, spin or run talk) 

  • 9:30 to 9:45 am:   Transition from Rotation 2 to Rotation 3

  • 9:45 to 10:15 am:   Rotation 3 (e.g., swim, spin or run talk)

  • 10:15 to 10:30 am: Transition from Rotation 3 to Stratus Restaurant

  • 10:45 to 11:15 am:  TTF and Triathlon 101 Presentation

  • 11:15 to 11:30 am:   Training Camp End; Participants Depart
